ABET Objectives Seems ABET has tightened definition of objectives Objectives are know things students accomplish 3-5 years after graduation UF Objectives: The objectives of the ECE program at UF is to prepare students for: 1. Successful careers in an industry that is increasingly global and multi-disciplinary; 2. For admission to, and to excel in, the best graduate programs in the world; 3. Good citizenship by engaging in ethical engineering for the betterment of society and the world.

Stakeholders Stakeholders are supposed to be involved in defining and refining objectives Typical stakeholders - Faculty, Students, Alums, Employers External Boards can represent Alums and Employers Assessment - performed primarily with alumni surveys External Board can be a focus group

Who? Need people will attend! What mix? Recent Alums (3-5 years) Corporate Management Recruiters University Faculty

When? Frequency? Adjacent to another draw Football Basketball Career Showcase
