Guess that Graphic Novel Series TSR 2007 You Never Know what graphic novels are lurking on the shelves…

Rules You only get 5 clues per slide You only get one guess per graphic novel

Mystery GN #1: He was referred to as “the big blue boy-scout” by his peers. This series was Created in 1932. A woman with an alliterative name has the heart of the main character. The given name of the hero is Kal-El . Hero of Smallville.

Mystery GN #2: Originally appeared in 1999 in the 43rd issue of Shonen Jump magazine . Main character is a ninja seeking to become Hokage . Much action takes place at the Ninja Academy. Creator: Masashi Kishimoto. Main Character: Naruto Uzumaki.

Mystery GN # 3: Author is from McKees Rocks. Installments eventually became a 1300 page single story. Introduced in Columbus,OH 1991 – as a self-published comic. Author had a famous feud with fellow self-published comic writer Dave Sim. Phoney, Smiley, and Fone are the main characters.

Mystery GN #4 First published in 1988. Started as manga – ended up with two TV series and a movie. Author: Fujishima. Series begins with protagonist accidentally calling the Goddess Relief Line . First word in series title either Ah or Oh…

Suggestions Layer questions from hardest to easiest. Reveal questions one at a time. Pick harder series! I went with series because it’s easier to come up with clues, but this could also work with graphic novel memoirs or any g.n. stand-alone – you can tailor this to the needs of your teens!
