Five of the leading research institutes in Southern Norway join forces and create a new large research institute Uni Research AS, Christian Michelsen Research AS, Iris AS, Agderforskning AS and Teknova AS Shareholder Agreement signed the 12th of June 2017 Owners: University in Bergen, Foundation Unifob, University in Stavanger, Foundation Rogalandsforskning, University in Agder, Foundation Agerforskning and the private/industry owners of Teknova AS Head office in Bergen Strongly anchored in all business locations Size and employees More than 900 employees and yearly revenue above 1 bill NOK The new institute will be in operation 1st of January 2018 Reqruitment of the Chaiman of the Board, board members and Chief Executive Officer is in process. The Managing Directors of the five institutes are heavily involved in the process and have engaged separate work groups to identify, analyze and propose improvements for the new institute. Facts
