Team Play 3 v 3 Channel Game (Goals only) Purpose: Description: Feeder strikes ball between players, if P1 wins the sliotar he tries to score a goal. If P2 wins the sliotar he must try to score a goal. Players 5,6,7,8 join the game as support runners or extra defenders if the opposition gain possession.

Team Play Touch down Hurling Purpose: Description: 2 teams. To get a score teams must get a “Touchdown”. Players cannot enter end zone before ball enters which gets players to develop off the ball running and also make players strike to space not the man. Teams get a score if player cleanly catches the sliotar inside either end zone.

Team Play Four Gates Game Purpose: Description: Four gates set up as shown. To get a score sliotar must be passed through gate and possession must be retained for it to be counted as a score. Winning team must score in all four gates.

Team Play Eye on the ball with a Clean Strike Purpose: Description: Coach sets up grid as Coach is looking for “Clean strike” during possession game. Team with most clean strikes as decided by coach in four minutes win. Variation : As a progression, any player who gets a Frontal Block and also gains possession wipes out opposition score, and also gains ten points for their team.

Team Play All Up Purpose: Description: This game involves full rules with one addition whereby in order to score all players must be in opposition half.

Team Play Criss Cross the Zone Purpose: Description: Pitch set into 3 zones as shown. If player gains possession in Zone 1 , he must pass into zone two or three and not one. This is replicated in other zones. The idea here is to encourage players to criss cross the sliotar.   Variation : In this scenario, only when the sliotar is in the half back line do the players criss cross the ball.

Team Play Watch the body Purpose: Description: P1 has a sliotar with back to goal. If he turns to his right he will strike sliotar to P2. P2 will then drill sliotar to P3, who moves across the 20m line and strikes over the bar. If he turns to his left he will strike sliotar to P3 who hand-passes the sliotar to P4, who moves across the 20m line and strikes over the bar. Coach can call certain players to go for goal to bring in the goalie.

Team Play Three Gate Attack Purpose: Description: 2 teams. Goalie pucks out the sliotar and whichever team gains possession becomes attackers. If opposition team dispossess them they must work the sliotar out through the gates and they then become the attackers. At all times the defending team must work the sliotar out through the gates and then attack. If there is a score/wide the games restarts with a puck out.
