Summary VPT Delivery is proceeding according to a revised schedule (400/month from Oct 04 - completion February 06). Full testing at 1.8T and batch testing (10%) at 4T are keeping pace with delivery. RIE claim to have identified a correlation between anomalous behaviour and process control measurements. Fraction of anomalous tubes has dropped significantly in recent deliveries (~6.0 ± 0.3% ~3.0 ± 0.5%). Fraction of tubes with visibly mis-aligned electrodes has also improved significantly for recent deliveries. CMS Week March2005 B W Kennedy, R M Brown - RAL 9
