The Great Eclipse of 2017 Annular eclipse. Mason Creek Middle School

Thank you to the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project Annular eclipse. Mason Creek Middle School

The Great Eclipse of 2017 Annular eclipse. The proper way to wear certified solar glasses is metallic side out! Hold the glasses in place if they are not fitting snuggly to your face and covering your eyes.

The Great Eclipse of 2017 Annular eclipse. Dark side of glasses should be on the inside not the outside!!

The Great Eclipse of 2017 W Annular eclipse. No peeking!!! We are not in the path of totality! The sun will only be about 96% eclipsed in our area. The remaining 4% must be guarded against with your safety glasses.

The Great Eclipse of 2017 Your safety glasses are designed and approved for use today. Never look directly at the sun and especially not today without shielding your eyes. Your glasses are especially dark. Use caution while moving around. Before you walk outside put your glasses on and hold them at your eye brows while watching where you walk. Once in place make sure the glasses are now snug. TEACHERS: Students should rest their eyes by looking down with glasses on every three to four minutes for about a minute. Please cue students that it’s time for a break. Enjoy the eclipse safely. Hold your glasses at the brow watching where you walk until back inside at which time you can remove your glasses. Don’t look up at the sun at any point without your glasses. Annular eclipse. Mason Creek Middle School
