Day 12 Notes: Cell phones & Metaphors & Resets

Cell Phones PERMISSION only. Turned OFF or on SILENT (Airplane Mode) Always in one of 2 places: 1) In your backpack OR 2) On UPPER RIGHT CORNER of DESK, TURNED FACE DOWN (Safety: ALWAYS Take with you when you leave your desk) PERMISSION only. NEVER OK to text, snap-chat, take pictures, record, Facebook, Twitter, Web surf, You Tube, or any other non-school activity on phone in class. Violations: You give me your phone, I keep it. Parent picks up at end of day in office.

What do you see?

Resets Not a punishment ! A reset is just a chance to get back to being in your greatness. Procedure: If I ask you to reset, do the following in your seat – 1) Stop 2) Quietly reset yourself by – Closing your eyes or putting your head down 3 count breathing 3) Once reset, you will be welcomed back to the group.
