How to Travel During Jag Time School year 2016-2017

Jag Time is 45 minutes in your school day to help do your best academically here at South by providing time for you to: Receive tutoring! Do your schoolwork! Get support from your Jag Time Advisor, Counselor & Jag Time Administrator!

What are the Daily procedures for travel?

NO restroom or hall passes for the first 5 minutes of Jag Time! Arrive on time for attendance Show your planner to your Advisor Sign the “Sign Out” sheet if planner is signed out for travel NO restroom or hall passes for the first 5 minutes of Jag Time! Hallways are CLEAR!

NO signature? NO travel! So be sure to plan ahead! Students must be signed out for that day by a teacher BEFORE arriving to Jag Time. Advisor will initial when you travel to your class. NO signature? NO travel! So be sure to plan ahead!

Student planners must be visible for planner check as you travel Travel Bell Rings When the bell rings (not before), students go DIRECTLY to their tutoring destination [5 minute passing] Student planners must be visible for planner check as you travel Students are tardy if they arrive to their destination after the late bell rings

TARDY Bell Rings After the 5 minute passing period is over and the tardy bell rings, any students not in a classroom will be escorted to the advisory intervention center (AIC) The AIC is located in POD 54 and Is monitored by Ms. Douglas and administrators.

When you arrive to your travel destination your teacher will sign that you arrived.

Final 35 minutes Take advantage of the time to receive tutoring help, work on assignments, read, organize your binder! NOTE: After the tardy bell for traveling rings, ALL students STAY in that room for the remaining 35 minutes of Jag Time!

Travel often, work hard, and do your best this year! GO JAGUARS!
