Circumstance Review Financial Aid and Scholarships (FAS) staff will determine if the documented extenuating circumstance provided meets the requirements for an appeal If not, the appeal is denied and the student is notified If yes, a workflow is started to academic advising. Appeal status Appeal Submitted – FAS has forwarded an appeal to academic advising Academic Plan Submitted – Academic advising has entered information and forwarded it back to FAS. FA Complete – FAS has updated Banner and the student has been notified. FA Revision Requested – Academic advising entered information, but FAS routed it back to advising for revision. Academic Plan Modified – Academic advising updated an academic plan and forwarded back to FAS. FA Cancelled – The appeal workflow has been cancelled.
