HOMEWORK REFLECTION JOURNAL ENTRY ONE Choose one quote that you feel is a good definition of ‘diplomacy’ for you. Explain in 2-3 sentences why this quote is a good definition and provide at least one example.

The quotes …Peaceful relations between nations require understanding and mutual respect between individuals. If only people will get together, then so eventually will nations. Diplomacy is the art of letting someone have your way…. Diplomacy is fundamentally working with people, bringing people together to deal with difficult issues. In the movies you get even; in life, diplomacy is best. “Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy.” Diplomacy is more than saying or doing the right things at the right time, it is avoiding saying or doing the wrong things at any time.
