So be ready to unveil your innovative ideas in “SPARDHA 2014” Paper Presentation Competition for UG Students on 8th & 9th March, 2014 at VAMNICOM, Pune.

Paper Presentation Judging Criteria: What you have to do is……… Submit an abstract of your idea in less than 500 words on the topic “Agribusiness: for better future” at spardha14.vamnicom@gmail.com, by 3TH March, 2013 No restriction on number of entries per college. Finalists will get an opportunity to present their ideas before renowned personalities from Agri-Business Industry. TO AND FRO TRAVELLING EXPENSES AND ACCOMMODATION INCLUDING FOOD WILL BE BORNE BY VAMNICOM, PUNE Paper Presentation Judging Criteria: Judging will be on a scale of 100, with tentative judging criteria as follows: .    A. Technical Paper (45) •    Choice of Topic (5)  •    Technical Content (20) • Innovation & Creativity (10) •    Scope & Utility (10)  .   B. Presentation (45) •   PPT Content (15)  •    Quality of Presentation – Delivering (10), Clarity (10)  •    Question and Answer (10) C. Question asked by the participating team to other team (10)

 Rules for paper Presentation Team size is restricted to maximum of two members. You have to present slide show and slides not more than 25. The paper must be typed with single-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman and should not be more than 20 pages. Only text directly related to the item being presented and any accompanying illustrations, tables, figures, etc., will count toward the 20-page limit. Title pages, tables of contents, and bibliographies shall not be counted toward the limit. All papers should have a bibliography. Papers omitting / without bibliography or using plagiarized material will be automatically disqualified. Photographs should be treated as being equivalent to figures, with the caption being placed at the bottom of the photograph. Photocopies of photographs are not acceptable. Participants have to mandatorily carry their college I-Cards. Each team/entrant must formally present his or her paper at the day of the event. Presentations must be no longer than 15 minutes. A 5-minute question-and-answer period will follow the presentation of the paper.  Questions may be posed by judges and/or students attending the presentation. Presentations may be accompanied by visual aids.

FOR MBA/PGDM (PG) STUDENTS BUSINESS PLAN (Mega Mind) Registration fee: Nil Business plans may be submitted by individuals or by teams. There must not be more than 3 in a team. Executive summary, containing the expansion of concepts outlined must be sent through e-mail on or before March 3 , 2014 and the selected plans will be intimated through e-mail.  The subject of the e-mail should be B-PLAN Teams should bring soft copy . Final-round submission will be judged according to the following criteria: Is the business financially feasible? Quality of products, services and/or solutions Market opportunities and competition Team qualifications Overall attractiveness of the venture “Chance to win special Theme prize”

Send your registration by email at spardha14.vamnicom@gmail.com,send the name of the participants and the name of the college / Institute. Both the participants have to present their College Identify proof. If they fail to do so, their team will be disqualified. There will be a preliminary screening round. The decision of the quizmaster will be final and binding for all the participants.

For All RULES Individual participation Any number of participants per college A product (mostly imaginary) will be given to the participant before 5 minutes Participant is supposed to speak on that product for another 5 minutes Marketing skills of the participant will be judged Rest of the rules will be explained on the spot For All

Inspirational (Extempore)… Format: Each participant will be given five minutes to speak extempore on a topic picked up by him or her. Bunch of the topics will be given to select any one randomly. He/she will be given two minutes prior to the speech to think over the topic. Participant has to speak only in English. Rules: Maximum time limit for think over the topic will be 2 minutes and maximum time for speech will be 5 minutes. The participant will be allowed to select the topic maximum twice. In case he or she decides to select the topic second time then he or she will not be allowed to take up the first topic. Participant will not be allowed to take any paper or material with him or her during the speech. Participant will be judged on the following criteria. Judging Criteria: Content Appropriateness and Correctness of language Delivery

Essay Writing (For All) Subject will be allot you on the Spot. Subject will be related with Social , Agricultural, Political areas. An individual can write at least 500 words but not less than that. Evaluation :- Content Understanding of Subject Flow Of Thoughts
