Years 3&4 Yr 3 – Spelling journals will be needed in school, Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. Yr 3 – Mrs Townsend’s spelling group need their books in on a Wednesday. Please keep practising with your children. Year 3 –Please keep practising telling the time with your child and helping them to use money accurately. Can you also practise dividing, eg. £250 shared between 5 people? £250 ÷5 = Year 4 – PE kits. Mon & Weds 4KN Tues & Wed 4JH Year 4 – Home Learning menus are now glued into journals. Whole School & Group Dates & Reminders New Texting System: We have moved over to our new texting system which is linked to our new school website. You will receive school texts from eSchools. Please let us know if you are not receiving texts and bear with us as we go through this change. More info about an eSchools app you can use will be sent out shortly. Cancelled Football Club: No club on Monday 29th Feb due to a match being played. Bike It Day: Wednesday 2nd March. Bring your bike to school if you want it checked /fixed by Bike-It Ben. World Book Day: Although WBD is on 3rd March, we will be celebrating this event on Monday 7th March. Dressing up themes: Reception/Yr1&2 – Julia Donaldson characters Yr3-6 – Roald Dahl characters. Free School Meals: If you think your child is eligible for Free School Meals please contact the School Office. Get Caught Reading: Please email photographs to the School Office. Shoe Boxes: Thanks for all the shoe boxes sent in so far. Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers: Please start collecting as many vouchers as you can. Any volunteers to help count the vouchers would be much appreciated! Parent Pay: School lunches. Please do ensure your child has enough money on their account to pay for their school lunch. If you are unable to add credit to their account then please send them in with a packed lunch instead. Parents’ Evenings: Tuesday 22nd March ,5pm-8pm and Wednesday 23rd March, 4pm-6:30pm. Please return medical form and slip to confirm if your child can swim 25m or not ASAP. Check your child has a valid passport and apply for EHIC if necessary.
