Prime Facts established around 1636 by Thomas Hooker Part of the New England colony region Money was made mostly by trade; fur, horses, rum, corn Climate was cold with a mostly rocky area, but agriculture was main work, along with fishing

Social Facts Colony was made of mostly whites Social rankings varied with wealth and the poor Most children had some type of education Wealthy were homeschooled, average attend school, very few poor had education Dancing, spinning, and contests were big parts of social gatherings and activities Mostly Puritan religion
