Geography Iceland, officially the Republic of Iceland, is located in the North Atlantic Ocean just south of the Arctic Circle, which passes through the small island of Grímsey(格里姆赛岛) off Iceland’s northern coast. Iceland

Demographics(人口统计) Iceland‘s land area is 103,000 square kilometers, a population of about 320,000, is the population density of the smallest countries in Europe. Most of them are Icelanders. Nearly 85.4% of people believe in the Christian Lutheran (路德教会).

Climate •Iceland is a cool maritime climate(海洋气候), the climate is changeable in the almost whole country.  •Due to the Gulf Stream(墨西哥湾暖流)influence, the climate is milder compared with the same latitude(纬度)places .  •In summer, sunshine is long while it is especially short in winter. Aurora(极光) is visible in autumn and early winter  .

Introduction of Iceland The scenery Iceland is the world's largest country in Hot Springs, so it is called Country of Ice and Hot. There are many spots of beautiful landscape in Iceland, it is definitely a good choice for travel.

Land of ice and fire Iceland’s stark, original scenery has been shaped by fire and ice.More than 200 volcanoes and countless glaciers form the country’s landscape.It’s a frozen land that’s always letting off steam.

Blue lagoon(蓝湖) the water in the lagoon is anything but “frosty.(灰白的)”The temperature in the swimmable area averages about 40℃ (104F),and the mineral-rich water is rumored(谣传) to have curative(疗效) powers.

the Golden falls 黄金瀑布 Gullfoss is called the "Golden Falls", since on a sunny day the water plunging down the three step staircase and then tumbling in two steps down into the 32 m deep crevice (裂缝;裂隙),it truly looks like golden.

Northern lights The aurora( 极 光) sometimes appear time is very short,like a festival of fireworks in the sky flashed a vanished without a trace, Sometimes it can reflect in the ether( 苍穹)for several hours.
