The Trip to the Rain Forest By:Dalton and Darell
What is a Rain Forest? A rain forests is a hot and misty area where plants and animals live. It rains every day.
Location of Rain Forests All rain forests are located on the equator.The biggest rain forest is the Amazon.All of the rain forests are on the continents of South America,North America, Africa,and Asia.
Emergent Layer Some plants and animals live in the Emergent Layer. Some animals like sloths, ants , parrots, monkeys, and ants are in the Emergent layer .
Canopy Layer The canopy has toucans, frogs, boa constricters, macaws,and butterflies.The canopy gets most of the rain.
Understory Layer Animals in the Understory Layer are snakes, macaws, red eyed tree frogs, geckos,and tree porcupines
Forest Floor Plants and animals on the Forest Floor are ants, jaguars, snakes,and the rafflesias. Some times the forest floor floods and river dolphins can swim in there.

Deforestation People cut down trees to make money from selling wood. People are setting fires to clear the trees for farm land.
People of the Rain Forest The people in the rain forest are helping to grow trees and help the plants and animals.
Conclusion I hope people won’t cut down trees or burn trees and be mean to the Rain Forest .
