Talking with a Parent Call out the wide range of benefits that are covered by KidsCare, including check-ups and immunizations , “You can see a doctor when your child is sick.” Dental coverage is particularly compelling for parents. Income eligibility. Some parents think that they earn too much to qualify for assistance even though they may have trouble affording other coverage options.

Talking With a School Teachers and Administrators- a recent study found that kids who gained access to Medicaid and CHIP (AHCCCS and KidsCare) were more likely to finish high school and graduate from college than similar children who didn’t have access1. In addition, the comprehensive benefits covered by Medicaid and CHIP (AHCCCS and KidsCare) mean that common health issues that cause children to miss school or be inattentive in class, like vision problems and toothaches, can be addressed 1. http://scholar.harvard.edu/files/cohodes/files/medicaid_edu_june2015.pdf
