ABACUS

Write how many tens and ones for the following numbers? = 3 tens + 5 ones = 35 = 4 tens + 2 ones = 42 = 1 tens + 3 ones = 13

PLACE VALUE 1) 27 2) 69 Place value of 7 is 1’s. Place value of 9 is 1’s. Place value of 2 is 10’s. Place value of 6 is 10’s. So, 20 + 7=27 So, 60 + 9=69 3) 86 4) 31 Place value of 6 is 1’s . Place value of 1 is 1’s. Place value of 8 is 10’s. Place value of 3 is 10’s. So, 80 + 6 = 86 So, 30 + 1 = 31

Count the notes and coins write how many ones and tens have? = 34 It has 3 tens and 4 ones. = 26 It has 2 tens and 6 ones

=15 =15 It has 1 tens and 5 ones. = It has 5 ones = 16 It has 1 tens and 6 ones.

Addition 1) 15 + 12 2) 19 + 30 3) 47 + 32 15 19 47 12 30 32 27 49 79 4) 25 + 41 5) 56 + 50 6) 72 + 26 25 56 72 41 50 26 66 106 98

Subtraction 79 – 45 2) 96 – 21 3) 63 - 11 79 96 63 45 21 11 34 75 52 4) 85 – 30 5) 62 – 32 6) 94 – 52 85 62 94 30 32 52 55 30 42
