Materials Day 2 -- Unit 3 Base ten blocks (at least 2 tens and 20 ones in a package) for each two participants Other representations of number (snap cubes, craft sticks bound together in groups of tens, etc.) Beans (six plastic cups full), 12 clear plastic cups Marilyn Burns Fraction Kits (1/2, ¼, 1/8, 1/16 pieces and red dice) Markers, pencils, chart paper

Materials Day 2 --Unit 4 Brown paper bags, meter sticks, blank paper for paper wads Overheads of trashketball slides or use blank sheets with an ELMO Markers, pencils, chart paper

Materials Day 3 -- Unit 5 Counters for Number Knowledge Test (Can use 2 color counters) Hands On Equations Kit Integer Representations (Two-Color Counters, Number Lines) Dollar bills and IOUs Markers, pencils, chart paper
