Covered areas of the curriculum: English: letter writing, information reports, researching (finding important information), creating information books, narrative writing. Science: exploring different habitats and why animals live in these areas. Geography: exploring different parts of the world and the characteristics of these areas. History: Extinct and endangered animals. Arts: Visual representation of animals, creating displays for the exhibition. IT: researching information about the animals and a range of habitats. Maths: Measurement of these animals (not a key focus throughout the topic).
