The Merits Of The Federal System – James Bryce Woll Reader #11 Bryce presents the idea that there are two distinct lines of argument for a federal system. Do you agree with them? Why or why not? Would you add a possible third or fourth line of argument? If so, what? What feeling or attitude does this document express? (Use descriptive adjectives and verbs as well as proof from the text to support your answer.) In the first argument for federalism, Bryce provides a list. Rank that list from most important to least important reasons for supporting federalism. Be able to explain you reasoning. Bryce states, ”The problem … is how to secure an efficient central government & preserve national unity, while allowing for (freedom) of diversity and (freedom of local government). How effective has our country been at addressing this problem? What is your proof?
