Hi friends. Do you want to know more about Inventions Hi friends! Do you want to know more about Inventions? If yes, come with me into a world of wonder! By Riya grade 4 A

Today I am presenting on the COMPUTER Today I am presenting on the COMPUTER. The famous and most used invention. What is a computer? Computer is a programmable electronic device designed to accept data, perform mathematical and logical operations at high speed, and display the results. Today, there are many forms of computers like iPads, tablets, iPhones and many more. It all started with the classic computer which has a C.P.U, mouse, keyboard and had changed the lives of human mankind. It can help us with our studies, we can play games on it, we can easily find out information that you need on internet, communicate to our friends and family across the globe.

Who made the computer? Charles Babbage is considered by some to be a "father of the computer“ he is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer in 1821. He was a mathematician, inventor and mechanical engineer. He developed a mechanical calculator that had a simple storage mechanism and called it the Difference Engine. Konrad Zuse’s greatest achievement was the world's first programmable computer Z1 built from 1936 till 1938 which could do four mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). He was a German civil engineer, inventor and computer pioneer . He has been regarded as the inventor of the modern computer. In 1942, John Vincent Atanasoff created the first digital computer.

Computers have practically changed almost every aspect of modern life Computers have practically changed almost every aspect of modern life. Computers have led to advances in mathematics, science, communication, economics, medicine, art, media and almost every other aspect of human life. Computers allow people to easily stay in touch on opposite sides of the planet. Social networks and messaging services allow people to instantly communicate and share information and ideas. Networking is global, rather than local. Computers have also improved education. Before computers, finding information required asking an expert or seeking out books. Now, limitless information is accessible instantly to anyone who has access to a computer and the Internet. Teachers can reach wider audiences and allow students to connect with one another in ways previously impossible.
