Midlothian Council Consultation Options for Lasswade Primary School

Background The population of Bonnyrigg, Lasswade and Rosewell is expanding. The council need to: Add three streams of non-denominational primary school capacity (more than 700 children). Create a sustainable Roman Catholic primary school provision as currently the two Roman Catholic primaries have far fewer pupils than their capacity

Hawthornden site could then become available for alternate use once the move takes place 14. St Matthews to remain in existing building Has available RC capacity
