What We Do & Why We Want You There are 16 beds on Mulberry 2 and 12 on Mulberry 3. The patients all have a serious mental illness, mostly schizophrenia or mania and less frequently depression. We would love a GP on the team as may of the patients have complex medical needs in addition to their mental illness. What would you like to do? This is a new post so there is a lot of scope for deciding how things should run. There is the option to prioritise reviews, education, quality improvement or junior doctor supervision depending on how you like to work. There might be scope to expand this role in due course. Resources for you You would be joining a team with three junior doctors as well as registrar across the two wards. The ward also has access to psychology, occupational therapy, dieticians, activities co-ordinator, arts therapies, chaplaincy, peer support. We have an excellent IT team who can help tailor things to get the information you need in the way that you want.
