MOTIVATING THE Y GENERATION Experiences Science LinX Tanja van der Woude

Y generation Generation: shared or collective field of emotions, attitudes, preferences and dispositions and a set of embodied practices like leisure activities. Significant live events early 80’s-2000

Characteristics Generation Y are known by many names: the millennials; the iPod generation; the me firsts; the internet generation; the Nintendo generation; the digital generation; generation why; generation next; the I generation and the net generation. New confidence, upbeat self-esteem More outspoken Tolerant Influence on other generations The Ashridge Journal Generation Y and learning Winter 2009-2010. Not always easy to see the difference between another generation or just “age”. As younger people will always be different.
