Overview This snapshot slide is intended to provide a quick summary of the highlights of each candidate so that pertinent details are not missed by the search committee. The search committee and faculty will use them to discuss the application at multiple points during the search. An application is considered incomplete until the slide is completed. Prior candidates have stated that it takes approximately 15 – 30 min to complete this slide. An example snapshot slide is attached at the end.

Specific Instructions Complete each section as completely as possible. Small adjustments to the sections can be made to provide more space in areas where needed but please do not change the overall layout. Do not include any pictures. To add a professional page link (e.g., Google Scholar), First select the text box on the page Select the appropriate description (e.g., “Link to Google Scholar”) Use the right button on the mouse to open the dialogue box Select “Edit Hyperlink” Edit the address at the bottom of the dialogue box to the appropriate link Alter the “Text to Display” for professional links if necessary Please delete explanatory text (red) or unused sections (e.g., the professional link text box if not used). Please choose the best primary match for research area. There is no preference for our search but this will help ensure that the application is reviewed by the appropriate faculty. To select the area, go to the slide show view. After picking the research area, the selection will be remembered when saved. Delete the overview, instructions, and example before sending the pptm file to search@che.ufl.edu.
