Importing and Exporting Activity by Members
5 Year Sales By Product
Growth Forecast for 2012 Anticipated Sales Growth Up 14.1% Anticipated Employee Growth Up 1.2% Trends for past two years - Sales and Employee Growth:
Conclusions Mergers and acquisitions will continue to have an impact on the membership of the BSA. Based on the Sales forecast of the members, we will approach $3 billion in 2012. Members will continue to increase revenues while hiring fewer numbers of new employees. No change in the number of significant suppliers that the members do business with, albeit mergers and acquisitions continue to change the make up of our supplier partners.
Conclusions The industries served and the products sold by the members remained fairly constant over the past two years. All members expressed confidence in the market and customers they currently service. Import and Export activities continue to increase with our members, with the rate of import activity growing faster. 2012 should proved to be a solid year for members, with revenues exceeding the BSA record high of 2008.
Thank You Best of luck in 2012!
