Measuring Equivalents 16 Tablespoons= 1 cup

How many??? Tablespoons in ½ cup? 8 Tbsp. Tablespoons in ¼ cup??

Measurement Equivalents 2 cups= 1pint 4 cups=1 quart 2 pints=1 quart 4 quarts=1 gallon

To halve a recipe Multiply by ½ (fractions) ½ X ½= ¼ Or ¼ x ½=1/8 Divide by 2 (whole #) 2/2=1 8/2=4

To double a recipe Multiply by 2 or 2/1 (fractions) 4 eggs x 2=8 eggs ¼ cup x 2/1=2/4 cup or ½ cup

How do you measure…… 1/8 of a cup??? There is no 1/8 cup!!!! Convert it to tablespoons!!! 16 Tablespoons in a cup 16 x 1/8=16/8=2 Tablespoons

How do you measure….. 5/8 cup???? 16 x 5/8=80/8=10 Tablespoons How can you measure that easier??? ½ cup=8 Tablespoons + 2 Tbsps
