So what is Key Club? Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership We want to inspire service within the school, and be a place for students to come when they need ideas on how to give back in their community Members should find that volunteering comes “naturally” and there is no limit to how much time they can give back WE ARE GOING FOR MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES, NOT JUST “EASY HOURS”

Expectations You are not in Key Club “just for hours” or “just to put it on your application” We need members who are going to invite others to serve with them at community events. We give back to our school and community, and we don’t “stop” at 40 hours – if this is your plan then please reconsider We need members who are going to team together to represent Riverside and Key Club by stepping up with one another to support activities of every kind Speak up, and follow through. Take initiative and be responsible for keeping up with communications. Most importantly HAVE FUN!

Some upcoming opportunities to look out for With the winter months and Holidays coming up, this is an important time of year for us to step up as a volunteer/service organization and inspire those around us to spend their time and energy giving back to the school & local community. This is not about earning hours, it is a great time to come together as a group and be leaders Some upcoming opportunities to look out for Gift Wrapping with our Kiwanis Chapter Toys for Tots Partnership with the NHS Holiday Party to hosts families less fortunate

Restaurant Nights! Jessica has worked to get local restaurants on board with Key Club nights! Chipotle November 21st? French Hound before the Holidays? And more to come after that! IF YOU SEE IT HIT SOCIAL MEDIA, SPREAD THE WORD! We are a club working together, not just individuals earning a minimum number of hours.

What will we use the money for? Essentials Kits for the homeless! Sponsoring families during the 2017-2018 Holidays

Be proud and work as a team, we are a CLUB for a reason. We can’t do this alone!! You are the future of this club, we can’t be passive we have to be passionate!
