Important days PE - Wednesdays and Thursdays. However, PE kit needs to be in school every day! Homework – Daily reading Spellings – Set on a Friday tested the following week on Thursday or Friday Times tables (tested on Thursday) Usually Literacy/Topic and Maths will be set on a fortnightly cycle

Daily Routine Maths and Literacy daily Spellings daily Guided Reading/Shared Reading daily Topic, Science, Art, DT, RE, French, Music, Computing, PE and PSHE afternoon sessions

What can you do at home to help? Make sure homework is completed to a good standard and returned neatly and on time. Read with your child, preferably a variety of text types, and most importantly talk to your child about what they are reading daily. Find a routine that works for you to help learn times tables and spellings. Ideally a quick daily review has the most impact.
