Personal Considerations: When looking for a job you should think of… Skills you have to offer (learned/trained) Abilities you have to contribute (natural) Is job a good fit for who you are? Are you outgoing? Are you shy? Do you simply need the money? Learning Goal: understand & consider other factors before selecting a job

Practical Considerations: Hours/Days you are able to work Schedule School Work Other Family Members Transportation Are you driving yet? Can someone drive you? Will you have to pay for gasoline? Learning Goal: understand & consider other factors before selecting a job

Professional Considerations: Is this job a good fit for who you are? Is this job going to contribute to who you might want to be? Can you make a commitment? You should do your absolute best to NOT be a job hopper. It looks bad to other employers if you cannot or choose not to hang on to your position.
