Immigration to the United States The impact of the Irish and Germans on the North.

Agenda April 3,2017 Do Now: Many politicians today view specific immigrant groups as “Un- American” due to their race or ethnicity. What other groups suffered from racial or ethnic prejudice when they immigrated to this country and are they discriminated against today? Hand and read copies of Article Complete Questions attached to Article on a separate piece of notebook paper and complete Exit ticket. HW: E.Q. Sheets due April 11th, 2017. Unit 10 Test: April 11th, 2017.

Article on Immigration Follow along with Mr. Beneventano as he reads the article. Complete questions on the back of page two on a separate sheet of notebook paper in Part of question format. All questions must be answered in at least 1-2 sentences (unless otherwise indicated). Have rest of the period to work.

Exit Ticket list an immigrant group mentioned in the article, a major challenge they faced, and the name of the political party that opposed immigration.
