APS-HRMnet’s Primary Objective “To provide human resource practitioners and scholars in the public sector in Africa with a networking platform for advocacy, professional development of human resource management, information and knowledge sharing to enhance organizational and individual capacity for effective performance”.

Evaluation of the project “Strengthening Public Sector Human Resource Managers Capacities in Africa”, Relevance of the Network Relevance of Network implemented activities Planned activities successfully implemented 46 African countries benefitting from Network Human resource management considered critical for service Over 1500 people directly benefitting On line training facility improving capacity workspace.unpan.org/...Strengthening%20Public%20Sector%20Human%20Resource%... 6/8 activities planned were fully completed Other 2 were partially completed: now all completed Over 1500 HRMs from 46 countries benefited from workshops, study tours, experts group meetings and on-line training. 94/123 individuals who completed the on-line courses received their certificates. Production of publication of HRMD papers completed There has been an increase in importance of HR management in participating countries
