Time For Your Pretest!

Dissecting the Elements and Standards Standards are what you are expected to learn by the end of the unit. Pulling apart the standards tells us how we will get there. Important words in the standards – Verbs and Actions Ask yourself what should I be able to do and what do I need to learn or know? Use the verbs and action words to help guide learning and your study habits. Assessments are based upon the standards.

Unit Standards and Elements S6E5. Students will investigate the scientific view of how the earth’s surface is formed. b. Investigate the contribution of minerals to rock composition. c. Classify rocks by their process of formation. d. Describe processes that change rocks and the surface of the earth.
