Expectations Be prompt Be prepared Be professional On time, seated, and ready for the lesson. Be prepared Assignments done, pencils sharpened, etc. Be professional Treat everyone with respect. You give me my time and I will give you yours. Act with class and character; how you present yourself is how people will treat you.

Calculators None are assigned unless I decide they need to be. No one leaves if I am missing a calculator. Use as needed.

Homework bins It is your responsibility to turn them in to your class tray before class starts. It is your responsibility to get your homework out of the out tray before or after class. Outgoing emptied every Friday afternoon.

Walls Nameless is for papers with no name 10 points every day for late assignments; not taken after 3 late days Wall of Champions is for every A on a major grade Post it notes Word Wall will be updated as we go Extra credit for students who help out with it.

Etc… Obviously, don’t pull out your phone in my class. If there is a text you NEED to send, do it before class starts. Once that bell rings, it’s my time. If you’re expecting an emergency call, notify me before class begins. Questions?

Icebreaker Speed Dating! Face the desks together in pairs of 2. Each group gets 3 discussion question (1 page). 60 seconds per group and then change to being with someone you haven’t spoken to yet.
