The Spark’s area of opportunity Mastrena/Coffee machines are outdated. Core disadvantages as a result: Pos systems are outdated: Core disadvantages as a result: Escalated time needed for grinding of espresso Temperature of beverages are inconsistent Have to alternate between the 2 different machines, due to one regularly malfunctioning Slow to operate Mobile Order N.A. Systems Require Manual Update Pos are not user friendly.Require extensive training to operate Currently we face the challenge of operating with outdated pos systems, mastrena machines, and coffee brewers. Negative outcomes due to this are, escalated time needed for grinding of espresso in mastrena machine, the temperature of beverages are inconsistent, we consitently must alternate between the use of two different mastrena machines, the pos systems are slow operating, mobile ordering is not readily available, the pos systems require manual updates, and finally pos systems are not user friendly.

Spark’s Solution Immediately implement 5% increase cost to top selling beverage:Pricing increase will directly result in: Upgraded Mastrena/Coffee machines Installation of Self-ordering kiosks Mobile ordering alive and in action Updated Pos Systems The solution presented is to promptly raise the price of our top selling beverage by five percent. From the price increase, it will directly result in upgraded mastrena machines, coffee brewers, and pos systems. In addition to this, there will be installation of self-ordering kiosks and mobile ordering made readily available.

Quarterly Earning Quarter 1(before) vs Quarter 2(after) Top selling beverage cost with outdated machines - $2.00 Top selling beverage cost with new machines $2.10 Increased total beverage sales on average by 50 cups per day 31.25% increase in revenue By increasing the price of our top selling beverage by 5%,, we added in total $11,000 in revenue in quarter 2 vs quarter 1. The price increase and updates allowed us to raise production of all beverages in total by an average of 50 cups per day. Financially as a whole, the change also increased the company’s sale of all beverages by 31.25% in quarter 2.

Impact on the Customer(s) -Customer Satisfaction elevated -Speed of service increased -Improved customer relations -Increased relaxation levels within operations The changes implemented allotted employees to make beverages more efficiently. It has allowed employees to remain organized throughout the day, as the POS system lists the all orders received chronologically. As a direct result, from the changes, we now have increased overall customer satisfaction, positively altered the speed of service, improved customer relations and increased relaxation levels all around within store operations.
