What I need to know How changing demographics during the Industrial Revolution led to the creation of new economic systems like communism. The impact that the shared culture of national groups and industrial classes had on changing society and politics in Europe

Objectives  Russia experienced a significant change in government when power shifted from monarchy to communism. Russia became the first nation to implement communism as a socio-economic system

Guiding questions Why did the monarchs in various countries participating in the war refuse to give up control of their various empires? What were the causes of the downfall of the Russian aristocracy and how did it cause the economy to crumble?

Russian Revolution Review: What led to it Corruption Frustration Debt

Going into depth: Overthrow of the monarchy and the movement into communism because of the Bolsheviks Lenin takes over and creates a communist system https://www.sascurriculumpathways.com/portal/Launch?id=934

Economics/ industrialism Share based economy Go from agriculture to industrialism After the revolution, new factories begin to arise everywhere and increase the ability for the country to grow. Population shifts into the city Schools begin to grow and illiteracy begins to dwindle

Social structure Goal was to get rid of social classes In the end it created a large split between the rich and the poor
