Project Description Elm Ave. Sidewalks, Streetscape & Safety Improvements – University Parks to Garrison St. Improvements Include: 5873 SY – Sidewalks 10,300 LF - Curb & Gutter 500 LF - Hand Rail 90 Curb Ramps 525 SY - Driveways 176 on-street parking spots Bike Lanes – University Parks to Garrison St.

Project Description Streetscaping Improvements Include: 1000 LF - Retaining Wall Up to 60 Trees (Chinese Pistache) & Tree Grates Up to 60 Streetlamps Up to 20 Decorative Benches & Trash Cans Irrigation required for trees and landscaping Final number of improvements will depend on input from Public Meetings.

Project Cost & Funding Request Estimated Total Construction Cost: $3,775,000 The Federal Highway Administration will provide $2,818,800 TIF Grant Requested: $956,200 Current MCAD Value: n/a Estimated Completed Market Value: n/a

Recommendation Up to $956,200 to pay for Engineering & Surveying, ROW Acquisition, Environmental, TXDOT Admin. Fees, and Public Input Meetings - $557,330 Construction & Streetscape – approximately $398,870 $248,870 – improvements as part of grant application $150,000 – additional improvements (downtown standard) This is part of a match for a Federal Highway Administration Grant.
