what is a sentence? A sentence is a group of words that tells a complete thought. In order to tell a complete thought, a sentence must tell who or what. It must also tell what is or what happens. SENTENCES NOT SENTENCES Jason likes camping. Likes camping by the lake. Our new tents leaks. Our new green tent.

Sentence buzzer. Follow these directions to play “Sentence Buzzer” on the next few slides: Click the bee at the bottom of the screen to make words appear on the screen. When you see enough words on the screen to make a complete sentence, click the Buzzer, and type your sentence. Don’t forget to start with a capital letter and end with an end mark. Good luck!
