Birth/Death Date… Emma Edmonds was born in December 1841, but she later then died in 1898.

Early Life… Family- -Mother= Died when Emma was young -Father= Was cruel to Emma when her mother died Events -Dropped the Sarah part early in her life -Ran away at 16 years old -Went to a small country -Joined army as a man named Franklin Thompson

Public Life… Joined army as a man named Franklin Thompson A nurse in the army Served two years

How world is different… Emma Edmonds changed the world by becoming the worlds first women in an army. She joined the army to be against slavery.

Why I chose this person… I chose to read about this person because this person did something amazing. This person named is Emma Edmonds. Emma Edmonds joined the army as a man named Franklin Thompson for two years, she was a nurse for the army, a spy and one of the first women's in the army. Emma Edmonds was an interesting person.

Recommend… I would recommend this book because it is about an interesting life of a women named Emma Edmonds. Edmonds went to the Army disguised as a man named Franklin Thompson, to do something amazing. To be against slavery and be brave.
