Icebreaker Within your group of three, find three things that each of you have in common. Here are some ideas to get you started: Pets Siblings Elementary School Foods Activities Sports

Campus Layout Pay close attention to the map that follows. Each group will have a tour guide who will highlight important areas of campus during a 15-minute tour.

Tentative Bell Schedule Monday – All classes meet Block 1 – 8:30 – 9:20 Block 2 – 9:25 – 10:15 Block 3 - 10: 20 – 11:10 Block 4 and lunches – 11:15 – 12:33 Block 5 – 12:38 – 1:27 Block 6 – 1:32 – 2:21 Block 7 – 2:26 – 3:15

Tentative Bell Schedule Tuesday through Friday: Repeat first block daily. Block 1 – 8:30 – 10:00 Block 2/5 – 10:05 – 11:35 Block 3/6 and lunches – 11:40 – 1:40 Block 4/7 – 1:45 – 3:15

Bathroom/Clinic Policy Anyone not in class must have a pass and is subject to being stopped by teachers. No one leaves the first and last 15 minutes of class. Excessive use of bathrooms during class time not permitted without a doctor’s note. Clinic passes must have your full name. The clinic is located in the main office. Take the back door.

Tardies and absences Excessive tardies/absences will not be tolerated. If you are late to school, bring a note and check in at the main office before going to class. If you are absent for an excused reason, make sure the front office receives the note as soon as possible. You are responsible for work missed when you are absent. If you will be out for a long amount of time, teachers can prepare work for you.

Laptops We’ll work with them tomorrow!!!  You get your personal laptop the second week of September after: Paying the $50 usage fee Parent attends laptop training session Code of conduct with signature is returned. Laptop training will occur during homeroom. For any other training needs, stop by the help desk.

Help Desk Mr. Raya operates the school’s help desk. Enter the help desk through the library doors near counseling. Come from 8-10 or 1-3 every day with a pass. Take care of your computer and keep it in the bag provided or you may end up paying.

Health and PE 20% of your time will be spent in the health classroom. 80% of your time will be spent in physical education. You MUST dress out in your gym shorts/shirt/tennis shoes or serve detention.

Athletics Anyone can participate in a school sport. We have fall, winter, and spring sports. To participate, you will need a physical dated after May 1st 2010.

Library You will keep your own cards in middle school. If you lose your card, you will need to pay $1. You may visit the library before the first bell with a pass or during your reading class. Enter and exit the library through the doors near Cafeteria Q.
