Dear Mrs. Claytor’s classroom family, My name is Ms. Slater and I will be student teaching in your child’s class with Mrs. Claytor. I will be in the classroom until mid October, then I will switch to kindergarten at Rivers Edge Elementary. After student teaching, I will be graduating from VCU with my Master’s in Teaching in December. I was born and raised in Bristow, Virginia. I have two dogs, Jackson and Allie, who I love oh so much. I also have two younger sisters, Taylor and Madison, who also live in Virginia. In my spare time I love running, reading, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to be teaching your child! We are working with pennies, nickels, and dimes to compare and count up to $2.00. (2.10) Science We are learning about the life cycle of a flower!
