# 56- FIRE PREVENTION (Decision Needed) TCM 12/06/2017 Francesco Castronuovo

CONTENTS FRAME OF THE FIRE PREVENTION SYNTHESIS OF STATUS ON ABT’S EQUIPMENT CPS SPS LHC IMPROVEMENTS POSSIBLE CONCLUSION TCM -Francesco Castronuovo 12.06.2017

FRAME OF THE FIRE PREVENTION FIRE PREVENTION (NOT EXHAUSTIVE) MEASURE ENVIRONMENT EQUIPMENT OBJECTIVE FIRE BRIGADE X AVOID-REDUCE DAMAGE SMOKE DETECTOR ALERT-ALARM EXTINGUISHER SENSOR SWITCH ALARM RETENTION REDUCE DAMAGE DEFLECTOR TCM -Francesco Castronuovo 12.06.2017

SUMMARY OF STATUS ON ABT’S EQUIPMENT CPS PARTIAL EXTERNAL AUDIT DONE BY AKHELEC IN 2016 (R.NOULIBOS EDMS 1690062) B352, B359, B361, B365, B367, B393 (NEW) THE OTHER FACILITIES NEED TO BE ANALYSED SPS SENSOR SWITCH INSTALLED AND CABLED ON MKP AND MKE4 SWITCHES SENSOR SWITCH INSTALLED ON MKQ SYSTEM NOT CABLED SENSOR SWITCH TO BE INSTALLED ON NEW SBDS LHC SENSOR SWITCH INSTALLED ON MKI SYSTEM PT2 AND PT 8 TCM -Francesco Castronuovo 12.06.2017

IMPROVEMENTS POSSIBLE CPS - WHERE IT IS FEASIBLE EXCHANGE 30 % THE FALSE SOLID FLOOR WITH FALSE FLOOR TYPE «CAILLEBOTTIS» RENEW THE RETENTION FLOOR INSTALL DEFLECTORS - CABLES PROTECTION INSTALL PLATES-DEFLECTORS – RETENTION TANK CPS-SPS-LHC ACTION PLAN ON GOING INSTALLATION OF RETENTION TANK (ENVIRONMENT) OTHER RECOMMANDED IMPROVEMENTS INSTALLATION OF REMOVABLE WALL BETWEEN EQUIPMENT > 1000 l ON EXISTING SYSTEMS ---> BIG IMPACT DURING PIQUET & MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION TCM -Francesco Castronuovo 12.06.2017

CONCLUSION ENSURE THAT A SMOKE DETECTOR IS FULLY OPERATIONAL IN EACH BUILDING WHERE ABT’S EQUIPMENT IS PRESENT (QUICK ACTION) IT IS PARTIALLY POSSIBLE TO COMPLY WITH CURRENT RULES WITH EXISTING SYSTEMS. INSTALLATION OF REMOVABLE WALLS WILL HAVE AN IMPACT, WHICH IS PROBABLY INACCEPTABLE, ON INTERVENTION AND MAINTENANCE ON EQUIPMENT. IN TERMES OF FIRE PREVENTION, A STUDY, CASE BY CASE, IS NECESSARY TO GET A REALISTIC ACTION PLAN EVERY NEW PROJECT MUST BE ANALYSED SBDS 5, NEW BUILDING PS (CT&FAK), ETC.
