Mr. Jensen 3rd grade ACE class 2017-18 Curriculum Night September 21st , 2017 Room 22 TEAM: Tullis, Wollin

Primary to Intermediate philosophy The number one thing that can generate academic success in a student is making the most from the time spent out of class, by understanding and using what was taught in class.  The positive working partnership between school and parents can be the single most impactful thing we do over the course of the school year for your students achievement.  Learning and behaviors/thinking, all improve only when this partnership works together connecting the value of what is learned and what needs to be learned. Spending even 300 seconds (5 minutes) of direct focus conversation on learning can move a student operating below grade level to grade level.  "The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.
