Parents’ Corner… Our class webpage on Weebly is currently under construction! I am working toward finishing it so that you can stay updated on our class happenings. (Labor Day weekend is my goal; fingers crossed ) I will be sending out a volunteer sheet for all who are interested. If you have any questions please send in a note, email or call the school at my extension. Thank you for all of your kindness and support! Vocabulary Words: *There are ‘Amazing Words’ and ‘Vocabulary Words’ for each story every week. Those words will be listed here. After we work on this week’s story, I will put next week’s words on here that will need to be focused on during the next reading story. This is a new reading series and the vocabulary words are used differently than previous years. I will decide what will be the best use for these words after we work through the first story. Spelling Words: *Spelling Test will always be on the last day of the school week. If your child is absent, please be prepared for him/her to take a make-up test on the day he/she returns. happen lettuce basket winter sister problem supper subject lesson spelling napkin collar traffic suggest puppet Challenge Words (used for extra points) 16. skillet 17. picnic plane system pumpkin terrica.johnson@hsv-k12.org 256.428.7520 Ext. 219
