The Bottom Line for the 2015-2016 Graduation Rates M-DCPS’ graduation rate has reached an all-time high of 80.4 percent for the 2015-2016 academic year. M-DCPS’ graduation rate exceeded that of other large Florida districts including Broward, Duval and Hillsborough. Miami Dade graduation rates for White, Black, and Hispanic students exceeded those of the State. Miami-Dade County’s graduation rate has increased by almost 22 percent from 58.7 percent in 2006-2007 to 80.4 percent in 2015-2016. Miami-Dade County’s graduation rate computed excluding charter schools is almost at 84 percent (83.9%).
