Asexual reproduction 1. Budding Budding is a form of asexual reproduction that results from the outgrowth of a part of a cell or body region leading to a separation from the original organism into two individuals. Budding occurs commonly in some invertebrate animals such as corals and hydras . In hydras, a bud forms that develops into an adult, which breaks away from the main body; whereas in coral budding, the bud does not detach and multiplies as part of a new colony.                                                                                                        1. Budding Hydra reproduce asexually through budding, where a bud forms that develops into an adult and breaks away from the main body. 2 . Cell Divigen involves an equal division of both the organism cytoplasm and nucleus to form two identical organisms -- the diagram of the protist at the right is example of this

budding -- involves one parent dividing its nucleus (genetic material) equally, but cytoplasm unequally -- the diagram of a yeast at the right is an example of this

3.  sporulation (spore formation) -- is reproduction involving specialized single cells coming from one parent -- the diagram of mold spores being formed at the right is an example of this

Vegetative Reproduction Vegetative reproduction is a type of asexual reproduction in plants that relies not on spores, but on multi-cellular structures formed by the parent plant.  It has long been exploited in horticulture and agriculture, with various methods employed to multiply stocks of plants. Potato plants asexually reproduce by forming tubers that grow into identical potato plants. Fragmentation Fragmentation is a means of asexual reproduction whereby a single parent breaks into parts that regenerate into whole new individuals.
