Expand and upgrade water resources monitoring systems including automation with Real Time Data Acquisition System (DWLR Telemetry) decided to select one each in one block ( 152 Nos Proposed immediately) 2. Mobile application for well census - preliminary discussion with kesrc done and fields identified. 3. Upgrading/ procurement of IT equipments, requirement formulated. 4. Other issues Major issues Fill up the vacant positions in SPMU and in the project not Materialized. Possibility for the construction of Regional Data Possessing Centre at Kozhikode. Engagement of Contract Staff for the implementation of the project – Guidelines to fix salary and allowances ? Way forward Major activities Planning to compensate the shortage of regular staff by appointing contract staff. Infrastructure of the department will be strengthened to progress the project as planned. Finance wing to be strengthened. Pursue with the government to fill up the vacant positions.
