Health and Safety Audit Performance Update

2016 Top Findings (Total of 48 Deficiencies/Repeats) Other Deficiencies not Identified: Asbestos Crane/Hoist Inspection Ergonomics H&S Training Hazcom Lockout Material SS Operator Ins. Planned Maintenance Review of Tech Sanitation Sling/Below the Hook/ Rigging Stairs & Ladders Vehicle Planned Maintenance Rick For 2016 we completed 57 audits On this chart the red bar represents Needs Improvement and the green represents Repeat Needs Improvements. We have graphed the top 5 findings. Other areas of deficiencies in 2016 were Hazcom, Lockout, Material Storage and Stacking and other audit modules that need improvement. In past years Electrical Safety and Confined Space were the issues we now see significant improvement. Note: Based on 57 Audits reporting does not include CHR’ June 2,2017 cf:opeiu459aflico

2017 YTD Top Findings (Total of 21 Deficiencies) Other Deficiencies not Identified: Aerial Lifts/Elevating Electrical Safety Elevator Inspection H&S Training Planned Maintenance Rail Car&Truck Review of Tech Sling/Below the Hook/ Rigging Welding/ Other Hot Work /Cutting Ken To date this year there have been 12 audits completed. We have identified 13 needs improvements during the 12 audits. However needs improvement are the not the only things we find during a audit. Our auditors find hundreds deficiencies during audits. The findings are tracked in a database that show before and after photographs. This is part of our joint audit teams coaching approach and sharing of best practices to improve the safety culture in all of our worksites. Highlighted are the top 3 findings of those audits. However, we have identified findings in Lockout, H&S training, elevator inspection, other audit modules that need improvement. It has been great to see this year we have seen improvement in Welding/Hot Work as well as Confined space (one of the Given) Remember as you continue to prepare for your upcoming audit we will be changing over to Performance Standards…… Note: Based on 12 Audits reporting does not include CHR’ June 2,2017 cf:opeiu459aflico
