Eligibility Requirements 18 years or older Owner of single-family home in Shelby County Primary resident of home to be repaired Current on City and County property taxes No bad debt or diversions with MLGW within the last seven years Income cannot exceed 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines Has not received previous assistance from TVA Home Energy Improvement Program or MLGW Project CARE program within the last four years
Weatherization Measures Attic insulation Attic hatch replacement Broken window replacement (air penetration present) Exterior door replacement (where there is a penetration) Repair of gas and/or water leaks
Weatherization Measures Exterior wall penetrations Interior floor penetrations (homes not on a slab) HVAC duct repair or replacement HVAC repair/maintenance Water heater repair or replacement Weather stripping around doors or windows Installation of carbon monoxide detectors (gas appliances)
