A well equipped library led by a Teaching Assistant librarian. Our learning resource area is well accessed by the staff to ensure that the children can access resources to support them. We are currently in the process of setting up a children’s cooking area. We have an amphitheatre, planting beds and a quiet area to give children time for reflection.

SETTLING YOUR CHILD INTO KENNINGTON CE ACADEMY We work closely with Downs View Infant School to make the transition smooth and rewarding. We invite parents to one of our open days in terms 1 and 2 when they are considering a place for their child. We have a ‘Welcome Evening’ where we share our values, curriculum and answer any questions. We have transition opportunities in term 6.
